Kimberly Dean, LMT, has been in the massage business for over a decade.  “I do a slew of different modalities. Hot stone massage, sports massage, Thai massage. The heat from a stone can penetrate the entire body and some athletes find it’s one of the better ways to recover quickly from injury.”  Sports massage involves a lot of stretching and muscle compression to squeeze out excess lactic acid. It’s often recommended before strenuous exercise.  “Thai massage involves stretching and compression too, but there’s more rhythm and meditation. It’s designed to work specific pathways throughout the body,” said Dean.  She offers massage six days a week by appointment only. The number to schedule is 303-999-1060.
